This project is part of an exhibit call RoboSapiens built for the Science Center of Kuwait. It showcases technologies that humans use to treat, assist, and enhance our abilities and livelihood. The Sonar Sensor is one of the many technologies that are highlighted in this exhibit. This device is designed to showcase how the technology is used to help assist people with low vision. The form factor is inspired by a flashlight. The user can hold and use it like a flashlight by pointing it in any direction. When the device detects an object in front of it, it will translate this information into vibration feedback which users can feel. The closer it is to an object, the faster the vibration.
